Celebrate Valentine’s & Galentine’s Days with Downtown Gloversville

Valentine’s Day is quickly coming and while this holiday is typically known for celebrating love between couples, many people use the day to show all their loved ones how special they are, whether it be their children, their parents, a friend, co-workers or others like a teacher. On average, Americans spent $192.80 in 2023 on this holiday with over 136 million shopping for gifts. “More consumers (57%) purchase candy than any other Valentine’s Day gift item,” according to the site. After candy, top gifts include greeting cards, flowers, dining out, jewelry and gift cards.
