A familiar face brings a fresh buzz to Downtown Gloversville. EJ Gallup, a native of this city and a former professional basketball player, has poured the last two and a half years into revitalizing the historic building at 91 N. Main St. Once a Montgomery Ward and various warehouse and manufacturing sites, this reimagined space is now the vibrant new home of Venue 91, an event space, and The Lab, a dedicated workout facility.

Looking for the perfect spot to host your next gathering? Venue 91 has you covered with two fantastic areas designed to suit any occasion.
Step into the welcoming front lounge and bar, an intimate setting ideal for smaller, cozy get-togethers. But the real showstopper awaits beyond the double doors: a spacious banquet room boasting an impressive 30-foot ceiling! This adaptable can host lively kids' parties with sports activities and even has a multi-sport bounce house ensuring a safe, enclosed, and energetic environment! It’s also perfectly suited for elegant weddings, festive banquets, adult birthdays, and anniversary celebrations.
EJ's vision for Venue 91 is simple: create a beautiful yet affordable atmosphere for everyone. The banquet room can be easily transformed with flexible lighting and customizable table and chair arrangements. Plus, with off-street parking accessible from Elm St., convenience is a guarantee.
Venue 91 is now open for bookings during these times:
Friday evenings: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturdays: Noon to 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sundays: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Lab: Your Court for Athletic Excellence
What started with a single hoop and a half-court for shooting workouts has evolved into The Lab, a dynamic training space for athletes of all levels. After seeing busy workouts and even some competitive 2v2 and 3v3 adult games, EJ expanded The Lab to include another half-court.
The Lab is perfect for both private workout sessions and scheduled programs. It's an ideal spot for college and high school basketball players in Fulton or Montgomery counties looking to stay in top shape before their next season.
